📣 What is The Roar Before the Score?
A special team-spirit segment during the Linggo ng Kabataan Foot Parade where each team gets the chance to showcase its energy, creativity, identity, and ability to rally the crowd.

Teams gather at the designated parade performance area.
THE ROAR
Each team performs its prepared cheer, yell, chant, or presentation.
THE SCORE
Judges evaluate the performance using the official criteria.
🎨 Team Identity
Each team is encouraged to prominently showcase its assigned color through banners, flags, accessories, formations, chants, and coordinated movements.
1 Participating Teams
The competition is open to the four official Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 teams:
2 Performance
- Each team shall be given a designated performance opportunity during the foot parade.
- Teams may present a cheer, yell, chant, coordinated movement, or combination thereof.
- The presentation must clearly represent the team's assigned color and identity.
- All members are encouraged to participate.
3 Time Limit
Judges may stop a performance that exceeds the prescribed time.
4 Props & Accessories
- Banners, flags, placards, pom-poms, and other safe team accessories are allowed.
- Improvised noise makers may be used provided that they are safe.
- Objects that may cause injury, obstruction, or damage are strictly prohibited.
5 Sportsmanship
- All cheers and yells must remain respectful and appropriate.
- Personal attacks, insults, profanity, discriminatory remarks, or offensive gestures are prohibited.
- Teams may show rivalry without disrespecting other teams.
6 Judges' Decision
The decision of the official judges shall be final and shall be based on the published judging criteria.

📊 Scoring Guide
Judges shall score each criterion based on the team's actual performance during the designated parade segment.
📣 The Challenge
Each team shall present an original cheer and/or yell that represents its identity, energy, and competitive spirit.
📋 Mechanics
- Each team shall prepare its own original cheer and/or yell.
- The cheer must represent the team's assigned color and identity.
- Teams may incorporate chants, rhythmic clapping, movements, formations, and safe props.
- The performance shall be delivered within the prescribed time limit. Not more than 4:00 minutes.
- The cheer must be appropriate, respectful, and suitable for a community youth event.
- Plagiarism or direct copying of another team's cheer is discouraged and may affect the creativity score.
